"...We have traveled to China, Italy, Japan, Hawaii, etc, etc. This was the best trip we have ever had! Our group ranged from 7 years old to 68 years old. Everyone loved it. The kids never complained of boredom. A highlight for us was the “kitchen party” in Bonavista. To see our 13 year old grandson without an iPod in his ear, playing his heart out on the spoons was amazing. The “spoons” are his favourite souvenir. He is a natural. Our 7 year old is now an expert on whales, puffins, and jellyfish. We loved all the houses (everything was in perfect shape) and all the people we met. The scenery was amazing and your recommendations for things to see and do were great.  Thanks so much. We are passing the word on to others"....

"Jerry-- We had such a good time with you and Elizabeth - if all Newfoundlanders are anything like you two, what a wonderful place it is!! I wish it was a little closer so we could come up regularly, but we'll still do our best to make it up again someday. Assuming I'm not touring the globe doing a a spoon concert, of course...but what am I saying - you'd be with me already for that one Jerry! In the meantime, the offer for you guys to come and visit us in Kentucky is real - we'd love to have you guys stay with us and let us show you our part of the world. We Kentuckians kind of like to party ourselves, and we have all kinds of fun things to do around here (too bad we aren't all just rich and not have to work - then we could hang out and have fun all the time!). "I just wanted to let you know how much fun we had and the view was spectacular. The other two couples were in awe the whole week. We saw icebergs on the back of Bell Island, went down the iron ore mines, had a few picnics near the ocean on our travels around. We also got to see a lot of humpback whales in Bay Bulls. They had just come in two days prior and there had to be at least 30 in the cove while we were there. We went out on a small 20 ft boat and they were as twice as big as the boat, They were under the boat and so close that we got spayed a couple of times. I was a little nervous a few times. Oh and those great little Puffins are fun to watch. I have recommended your cottage to everyone I have talked to and we will be back. I will tell you the weather was not great but we made the most of it and the other two couples said it was the best holiday they have ever had..."

"...Oh Ken what a time we had. The house is just great! [Thomas Mouland House] We watched whales from the deck and took full advantage of the sun that we had all three days! A couple of icebergs still around but the whales were incredible. Standing at the lighthouse they were just offshore and put on a fine show! Loved the root cellars at Elliston! Went to dinner at Fisher's Loft which was delicious and then to Trinity and took in a play. Yesterday we took in the Pageant! It was great, sunny and warm with the occasional breeze off the iceberg in the harbour to keep you cool while you walked.We had a perfect getaway.  Thankyou for the house, it was excellent..."
